I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope you all have a very happy holiday seasons. Lauren and I are both on vacation this week from work and really just relaxing and taking it easy. It is nice at times to just do nothing since work is so hectic. It has been a very productive and busy year, and next year appears to be heading in that direction as well.

Hello All,
My name is John Conklin and I currently reside in Peoria, Arizona a suburb of Phoenix with my lovely wife Lauren and two dogs, Rocky and Harley. Both Lauren and I work for a major health care company here in the valley, myself in the IT Department as a system support supervisor, and Lauren in the Medical Management department as a project manager.
I am also currently pursuing my PhD in Information Technology through an on-line program with Capella University out of Minnesota. Well into my second year and so far it was been very challenging and rewarding at the same time. I hope to graduate in two years with my doctorate degree in Information Technology.
It has been a couple of years but I also like to play golf when I can. There is just something about chasing that little ball around that I find very relaxing, or maybe its just being outdoors for about 4 hours while I play 18 holes with my friends.
This is my first attempt at an on-line blog so I hope to occasionally update with what’s happening in our lives, and hope you come back soon to read more.
